We are a PCB manufacturer with a focus on high mix, high technology, and high quality circuit boards. We offer a wide array of products and capabilities, including 2L-48L rigid-PCB's, HDI & stacked microvias, hi-speed and low-loss boards, heavy copper, rigid-flex & flex circuits, metal-backed PCB's, and RF microwave boards.

Sunshine Global Circuits specializes in helping our customers take complex designs from prototypes to volume production. Our Engineering and FAE Group provides material suggestions, stack-ups, impedance modeling, and DFM guidance. We are eager to share our expertise with board designers to ensure each project is optimized for manufacturability and cost.

History

Sunshine Global Circuits was established in 2001 and was publicly listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (300739.SZ) on February 1st, 2018.

Sunshine Global Circuits was founded by Mark Zhang who continues to serve as Chairman and President. Mark is passionate about innovation and customer service, and he continues to lead the company with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Sunshine Global Circuits currently operates 4 manufacturing sites: Shenzhen, Jiujiang, Malaysia, and Remscheid-Germany. We also have sales offices in North America and Europe to provide technical support and local service.

Milestones

2001

  • Sunshine is founded by Mark Zhang as Shenzhen Sunshine Circuit Technology and is ISO-9001 approved.

2004

  • Sunshine achieves TS-16949 Automotive Quality Management and ISO-14001 Environmental Management System certifications. Total production capacity reaches 30,000 m² per month.

2008

  • Sunshine is awarded "China High-Tech Enterprise" and "Green Enterprise."

2009

  • Sunshine invests 5 million RMB on waste treatment and air treatment facilities.

2011

  • Sunshine establishes a sales subsidiary in Texas named Sunshine Circuits USA, LLC. Sunshine is ranked #58 in CPCA China’s Top 100 List.

2012

  • Sunshine establishes a sales subsidiary in Germany named Sunshine PCB GmbH. Sunshine achieves ISO-13485 Medical Quality Certification.

2013

  • Sunshine acquires Rinde PCB in northwest Germany to provide prototypes and quick turn to the European market.

2014

  • Production begins in Jiujiang, China in a new 500,000 ft² facility owned and designed by Sunshine.

2016

  • Sunshine’s total production capacity surpasses 60,000 m² per month.

2018

  • Sunshine is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange (300739.SZ).

2019

  • Sunshine's total production capacity surpasses 80,000 m² per month, with 2100 employees worldwide.

2020

  • Sunshine Jiujiang factory is certified to ISO-45001 for occupational health and safety management, and is recognized as a "Green Factory".

2022

  • Growth of RF microwave PCB and Heavy copper PCB production lines in Jiujiang Plant 2 (J2). Implementation of Automated PCB Line with intelligent manufacturing (see video). Began construction of a new factory in Zhuhai.

2023

  • Acquisition of Vision Industries Sdn. Bhd., a PCB factory located in Penang Malaysia with capability for FR4 multilayers and RF microwave PCB's.

Leadership

Mark Zhang 张佩珂

Founder and Chairman

Mark Zhang founded Sunshine Global Circuits in 2001, and assumed responsibility for company strategy and business development in 2006. He started his PCB career in 1990 at Topsearch as QA Systems Engineer, Front-End Engineer, and Process Engineer. Mark received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Xi’an Jiaotong University, where he also worked briefly as a lecturer. Prior to Sunshine Circuits, Mark was Operations Manager of Shenzhen JianXin Electronics from 1994 to 2001.

David Aldape

Chief Technology Officer

David Aldape joined Sunshine Circuits in 2012. He is responsible for Sunshine’s technology development and R&D. Earlier in his career, he served as Director of Engineering & Quality with Streamline Circuits and Director of Engineering at DDi Milpitas. David has received various accreditation during his 30+ years in the industry. He is also a frequent contributor to technology publications and is often sought out as a speaker for industry events. He received his B.S. in Engineering from the College of Scotland.

Jason Zhao

VP of North America Operations

Jason Zhao joined Sunshine Circuits in 2011. He is responsible for Sunshine’s overall business operations in North America. Jason has prior printed circuit fabrication experience with DDi, Sanmina-SCI, TTM Technologies, and Lone Star Circuits. Jason holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Beijing Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree from the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California.

Jimmy Fang

VP of Business Development

Jimmy Fang joined Sunshine Circuits in 2012 to drive Sunshine’s North America business development. Previously, he was the Director of Asia Sales at DDi, and he led sales and marketing at WUS Kunshan and Parlex Shanghai. Jimmy began his career as a Quality Engineer at Polyclad Laminates in 1991 and worked in China for nine years. Jimmy holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley and a M.S. in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University.
