At Sunshine Global Circuits, we believe in TQM (total quality management), where we use an integrated system with management support to achieve customer satisfaction. We trust in building quality into the product rather than inspecting it out of the product. We believe in process controls and designing robust processes to prevent defects from occurring (Poka-Yoke).
We make long-term investments in our facilities, equipment, processes, and people. To that end, we have implemented Lean Manufacturing programs, SPC/Cpk programs, Six-Sigma Training, Quality Improvement Teams (QIT), and employee suggestion programs. Furthermore, we encourage our employees to participate in continuous improvement and reward them for ideas that result in tangible benefits and cost savings.
Our QA system includes the following functions:
Product quality is ensured through strict inspection and testing of all products. We perform 100% Innerlayer AOI, 100% Outerlayer AOI, 100% Electrical Test (bareboard netlist testing), and 100% Final Visual Inspection. First Articles are done at each critical process, and customer requirements such as line width and hole size are checked carefully.
We perform lab testing according to IPC test methods, including cross-section evaluation of plated through hole quality, thickness of all layers and surface plating, solderability & thermal stress, ionic contamination (ROSE), and impedance measurements by TDR.
Sunshine Global has well-equipped Reliability Laboratories with SEM/EDX, Temp/RH Chamber, Thermal Shock Chamber, CAF tester (conductive anodic filament), Ion Chromatography, and other state-of-the-art equipment.
Sunshine Global products are certified by UL and we offer many materials and constructions with 94V-0 rating. Our products are also certified by UL-C (Canada), CE and UL-EU (Europe), and CCC/CQC (China). UL file number E229342.
Sunshine products have also been tested and qualified by IST, PCQR2, and other industry test methods.
